About the church family
We are a varied and friendly congregation seeking to know more of Christ and to walk with Him in our village and in the world. Please explore our website to see the practical expression of our faith in action and to discover the many activities and services that we and our community have to offer. We meet regularly for worship on Sundays and Thursday and welcome everyone who would like to join us. Please see the Church Diary for details of church services and other church activities. We are committed to Safeguarding and strive to do everything that we can to keep people safe when they use our buildings or take part in our groups and activities and we are especially mindful of the safety of our children, young people and vulnerable adults. We are engaged with Eco Church in order to safeguard the integrity of creation and sustain and renew the life of the earth, believing that as a church community it is essential that we play a full and clear part in this and in countering climate change. Summer Holiday Club is here!
Summer Holiday Club will be at Colerne Primary School from 28 July to 1 August each morning from 10am to 12noon. For children 3 to 11 years old. For more information, please see our For Children page here
Lidbrook Benefice
Christian Aid - May 2025 We walked sections of the new Athelstan Pilgrim Way around Malmesbury over four days to meet the 70k in May challenge. It was a challenge but we made it!
The children (3-11yrs), undertook a sponsored cycle ride on the Old Road (in Colerne) on Saturday 10th May between 11am and 12 noon. They were incredible! On Thursday 15th May we had a fabulous Community Concert at St John the Baptist, Colerne. Thank you to everyone who took part and came along and enjoyed a wonderful evening. On Sunday, 18th May Charlotte Scott of Christian Aid joinied us at Colerne Parish Church to speak at our All-Age Family Service. Thank you for donating to Christian Aid via our giving page; together we raised over £2000! |
