About the church family
We are a varied and friendly congregation seeking to know more of Christ and to walk with Him in our village and in the world. Please explore our website to see the practical expression of our faith in action and to discover the many activities and services that we and our community have to offer. We meet regularly for worship on Sundays and Thursday and welcome everyone who would like to join us. Please see the Church Diary for details of church services and other church activities. We are committed to Safeguarding and strive to do everything that we can to keep people safe when they use our buildings or take part in our groups and activities and we are especially mindful of the safety of our children, young people and vulnerable adults. We are engaged with Eco Church in order to safeguard the integrity of creation and sustain and renew the life of the earth, believing that as a church community it is essential that we play a full and clear part in this and in countering climate change. Lidbrook Benefice
Christian Aid Week 2025 (11 - 17 May) There are so many ways to join in with and support Lidbrook Benefice's fundraising activities for Christian Aid in May.
We’ll be walking sections of the new Athelstan Pilgrim Way around Malmesbury over 4 days to meet the 70k in May challenge. For children (3-11yrs), why not join us for the sponsored cycle ride on the Old Road (in Colerne) on Saturday 10th May between 11am and 12 noon. On Thursday 15th May we are having a Community Concert at St John the Baptist, Colerne. On Sunday, 18th May we have Charlotte Scott of Christian Aid joining us at Colerne Parish Church to speak at our All-Age Family Service. Everyone Welcome!
