About the church family

We are a varied and friendly congregation seeking to know more of Christ and walk with Him in our village and in the world.
We meet regularly for worship, usually on Sundays at 9.30am and 6pm, and welcome everyone who would like to join us.  We also hold an evening Zoom Compline Service at 6pm every other Sunday.  If you would like to join in this service, please email Revd Janet by clicking here and she will send you an invitation.  We are also open for private prayer during the day.

For latest news see our Facebook feed on the right.

Below is our church diary; all events are held in church unless shown otherwise.

Regulations around Public Worship

Revised Covid Measures

Following the latest guidance on the Covid measures, we have adapted the approach taken in the church.  The measures, which will be reviewed as and when required, are:
  • Please don’t enter the building if you have symptoms of COVID-19.
  • Please sanitise your hands when you come in to the building.
  • Please keep households 2m apart where possible.
  • Please sit in an allocated seating place; we use alternate rows of pews only.
  • Please wear a face covering in the church building unless you are exempt from doing so.  Those who are speaking, leading or reading worship will move their face covering while doing so in order to enable those who rely on lip reading to assist their hearing to see their face.
  • Communion will continue to be received in one kind and placed in dishes by the president.
  • We are continuing with test and trace so please continue to scan yourself in or fill in a slip.

Ukraine Appeal - Christian Aid and the UK Disaster Emergency Committee

In 2021, Christian Aid celebrated its 75th Anniversary.  It was founded by British and Irish churches to help refugees following the Second World War.  Since then, it has provided humanitarian relief and long-term development support for poor communities worldwide, while highlighting suffering, tackling injustice and championing people’s rights. Now, it finds itself once again supporting those in need in a crisis in mainland Europe.  Christian Aid is a member of the UK Disaster Emergency Committee, which is operating a Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal, and is collecting on its behalf.  The UK government has pledged to match pound for pound up to £20 million donated by the public to this appeal.

Donations may be made to the appeal here
